Using her Web site to alert the world, Britney Spears confirmed yesterday that she's pregnant. Spears, 23, married dancer Kevin Federline, 27, last September.

Their announcement was as brief as one of her outfits but not necessarily revealing:

"The time has finally come to share our wonderful news that we are expecting our first child together. There were reports that I was in the hospital this weekend.

Kevin and I just want everyone to know that all is well. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Love Britney and Kevin."

Federline, 27, has two children with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson. Jackson was pregnant when Federline met Spears on her tour, where he was a backup dancer.
